How long is the lease? Do I have to sign a 6 month or 1 year lease?
At U-Stor- It Mini Storage you rent by the month and pay only for the months you need the space. You are not locked into any complicated lease.
Do you have the size I need? The following is a list of just a few of our 29 sizes.
Unit Size Equivalent to: This Unit will hold:
6'X6' (36 Sq. Ft.) Regular Closet with regular door Personal items, clothes, boxes, skis, children's toys, small furniture items, business records and sales rep materials.
7'X10' (70 Sq. Ft.) Large Closet Small amounts of furniture, sofas, chairs, chest of drawers, box spring and mattress, business supplies and records. Plus other small items and boxes.
10'X10' (100 Sq. Ft.) Half of a one-car garage One-bedroom apartment with major appliances, other furniture and supplies.
10'X15' (150 Sq. Ft.) Two-thirds of a car garage A two-bedroom apartment or house, including appliances, boxes and miscellaneous items and commercial storage inventory.
10'X20' (200 Sq. Ft.) Standard one-car garage A three-bedroom house with major appliances, plus lots of boxes. Business storage files and inventory ideal for storage racks.
10'X30' (300 Sq. Ft.) Standard two-car garage A four-to five-bedroom house with major appliances and room for boxes. Excellent for business storage of files, equipment and permanent records.
Why should I rent storage space on the ground floor? Does it make a difference?
There is a huge benefit to having storage space on the ground floor. Frequently you can pull right up to the door. Loading and unloading is much easier and quicker when you do not have to deal with long hallways, stairways or waiting for your turn to use the elevator.
Why are pitched roofs important?
Pitched roofs allow the heat load in a building to be above the items you have stored, not in them. Buildings with pitched roofs tend to be much cooler in the summer months and less prone to leaks than a flat roof and the rain better.
How to decide?
